öbiqvari creates premium muslim menswear inspired by a fusion of middle eastern and european styles. our mission is simple: to modernise muslim menswear.
the ö has become our signature symbol, representing our east-meets-west approach.
every öbiqvari garment is conceived and designed in the united kingdom by our founder and lead designer, zakkaria raja.
every garment begins as an original concept before progressing through sketches, material selection, technical development and sampling. every detail is refined in-house before the garment reaches production.
we don't purchase off-the-shelf designs or simply add our logo to existing products. every garment is designed and made exclusively by öbiqvari.
it's pronounced err-bee-kavar-ree.
don't worry if you get it wrong. we still hear a new pronunciation every week.
the name öbiqvari comes from a portmanteau of a few words (including qari, which means “skilled reciter”).
all öbiqvari garments are designed in a monochromatic palette. keeping colour restrained lets the silhouette, fabric and finer details take the lead, while making each piece effortless to style.
every product page includes a detailed size guide.
we include recommended heights, garment measurements, fit notes and model information to help you choose the correct size.
we recommend choosing your size primarily based on your height. please refer to the size guide on the relevant product page before placing your order.
we currently ship across the united kingdom. we hope to expand to more destinations over time.
delivery times will be displayed during checkout and may vary depending on your location within the united kingdom.
we offer a 14-day return period for eligible items. garments must be unworn, unwashed and returned with all original tags attached.
for full details, including how to start a return, please see our shipping_&_returns page.
new releases will be announced through our website, social media channels and mailing list. we're just getting started, and there's plenty more to come. keep your eyes peeled.

sure thing. early muslim daily clothing, such as the qamis and thawb (or thobe), evolved in response to the climate. lightweight cotton was worn in the intense daytime heat, while heavier wool and camel hair provided warmth during cold desert nights. we like to think good design has always been about solving problems.
